LISA WALKER
Lisa is a born and bred Beckley, WV Coal Miner’s Daughter. She has lived in Beckley all her life and plans to be buried here as well! Lisa is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and completed undergraduate nursing degrees from Bluefield State College. She graduated from WVU with a Master’s in Nursing and as a Family Nurse practitioner. She has served the community as a board-certified nurse
practitioner for 20 years and before that as a nurse educator for Bluefield State College and ICU nurse at Raleigh General Hospital. She has served the nursing profession for almost 30 years and is currently a nurse practitioner with Raleigh General Hospital at the Raleigh Heart and Health clinic. Lisa takes great pride in caring and advocating for her patients.
She is also very proud of her family. Lisa is celebrating 25 years of marriage with her husband Jeff Walker, who is also employed by RGH as the assistant director of pharmacy and the informatics pharmacist.
They have three children: TJ, McKenzie, and Karsyn and two beautiful spoiled granddaughters, Annelise and Teagan. They attend IHeart Church. Lisa and Jeff have five dogs and two cats, enjoy concerts, ATV riding and camping.
Lisa is a voracious reader and loves to SHOP. She is an avid music fan, especially Prince, Bon Jovi, and the Beatles. Many people have commented that she should sell tickets for a tour of her personal office at Raleigh Heart and Health (Is that a fundraiser idea??) Lisa looks forward to meeting new people and supporting her community! She is very humbled and excited to be part of the DWTS 2022 event.
DR. ALEX DANIELE
Dr. Alex Daniele was raised in California but has been flourishing in the great state of West Virginia for the last 8 years, and now in Beckley for the last three. Having just purchased his first home last summer, he is happy to call Beckley his new home. Alex is a dentist working with Dr. Greg Harvey at Harvey Dental Studio. With a background in performance and an outgoing personality, Alex is thrilled to make this the best Dancing with The Stars yet. This “California Cool” dentist plans to bring a fresh new look to DWTS this year with many exciting fundraising ideas!
