Amanda Stroupe is a WV native, raised in McDowell County and relocated to Raleigh County prior to high school. Amanda isa graduate of Woodrow Wilson high school and graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy in 2004.
Amanda has been one of our local pharmacists who has served the community for over 18 years. She currently is the pharmacy manager at Sam’s Club and also serves as a certified preceptor for the University of Charleston and Marshall University Schools of Pharmacy. Arnanda takes great pride in providing care for and advocating for her patients and students.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughter Kalei who participates in volleyball at her Middic School as well as Club Attack travel league. Amanda also enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling to any destination with sunshine and blue water.
Amanda is humbled and excited for the opportunity to participate in the 2023 DWTS event. She looks forward to stepping outside the pharmacy to meet new people and raise money for the United Way to give back to the community.
James Williams was born and raised in Long Branch, West Virginia in Fayette County. James graduated from Mt Hope high School. After graduating he started working in the Restaurant – Hotel Industry. James relocated to North Myrtle beach in early 2001 where he began his career in Corporate Chain Restaurant Management. In winter of 2012 he relocated to the Mountains of West Virginia to take over the family business- The Corner Grill, located in beautiful downtown Pax, WV.
In his free time, he enjoys Fishing, Golf & Traveling back to the Sandy beaches of South Carolina.
James is honored at the opportunity to participate in this year’s Dancing with the Stars event and takes great pride in helping and volunteering in the community in which we serve.
